Carousel sliders, along with scroll hijacking, are among the most aggravating aspects of any website. According to UX studies, the navigation menu should be simple, as very little users clicks on carousels anymore. If you utilize a carousel, users will likely ignore the majority of the content you want them to view. Carousels, no matter how appealing they look to you, do not provide enough functionality to make them a viable addition to your website.
